Confirmation
Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation together make up the Sacraments of Initiation. When we receive the sacrament of Confirmation, we receive the full outpouring of the Holy Spirit granted to the Apostles on the day of Pentecost.
Confirmation is the sacrament that roots us more deeply in the divine relationship. It incorporates us more firmly in Christ, strengthens our bond with the church, associates us more closely with her mission, and helps us bear witness to the Christian faith in word and deed. We invite those entering high school or beyond to begin preparations to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Essential to the Rite of Confirmation are:
- Renewal of our Baptismal Promises.
- The anointing on the forehead with holy chrism.
- The laying on of hands with the words, “Be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit.”
- The sign of peace.

- Sunday: 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, & 11:00 AM
- Reconciliation Times
- Mondays: 7:30-8:00 AM
- Saturdays: 3:15 PM
- By appointment
4. Give to the poor.
5. Set time aside for prayer.- Praying with Scripture
- Journaling Prayer
- Pray the stations of the Cross
- Serve the people who are closest to you
- Be the face of Jesus to someone who hurt you.
9. Pursue a deeper understanding of your faith.- Attend youth ministry events
- Read spiritual books
- Check out some spiritual youtube videos
- Talk to your friends about your faith
