Adult Faith Formation

Ongoing adult faith formation is essential to each individual, and Resurrection offers many opportunities for growth in faith.  One of the primary sources of adult faith is discussion and action upon the homilies of each Sunday Mass.  The Sunday Bulletin offers a Question of the Week by which either individuals or the family together can make the readings practical and the homily applicable to daily life.

Other opportunities for adult faith formation offered include Bible study, learning/discussion gatherings on faith topics, sessions for Catholics who have been away from the practice of their faith and wish to be updated, and the city-wide Wisdom and Wine, Theology on Tap, and social justice events.

Additionally, there are various opportunities for growth in one’s relationship with God such as parish missions, annual Christian Experience Weekends, Tuesday Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in the Chapel, several Scripture/faith sharing groups, and several on-line and local activities, some of which can be found at the links below.
